Jen’s a real gem

Jennifer Corrigan has traded the bay of San Francisco for the lakes of Minnesota, joining mono as an account director. While out West, Jen spent five years in account director and brand strategist roles at Duncan/Channon and The Loomis Group. She also sharpened her skills in Best Buy’s marketing department. Needless to say, Jen’s an adventurous spirit. She’s already contemplating which winter sports to master, and is petitioning the sun to hurry up already and warm the nearby water skiing holes. We’re glad to have you, Jen.

SamC

say hi to Sam

Sam Soulek brings his wizardry to mono as our newest designer. He claims he’s been knocking on the blue door for years, and we’re happy the stars finally aligned. Prior to mono, Sam worked at Olson and Fame, plus did oodles of freelance work on brands like Target and Esquire Magazine. He’s also working with the founders of Twitter on identity and branding work for their new gig. Seems crazy, until you find out he was born to a Jazzercise instructor mom and private investigator dad. That combo just doesn’t turn out average.

get to know Natalie

Welcomes abound. Designer Natalie Schaefer is fresh in from our hipster sister city of Portland, OR. Out West, she experienced the mountains and microbrews while working for several clients big and small (the big including Nike). Natalie has also done really smart design work for brands like Aveda, Doc Martens, Target, and Keen Footwear. For kicks, she spends weekends “junkin” at thrift stores and flea markets, which she claims is the reason for her impressive collection of Pyrex.

HeidiA

oh hi there, Heidi

After living on the left and right coasts in San Francisco and Boston, Heidi Tieszen has joined mono as a project leader. Heidi has experience from the client side of things, where she worked on everything from interactive projects to events for the marketing department at Bain Capital. Now in the Land of Lakes, she looks forward to road biking and seeking out the best Mexican food a state bordering Canada can offer.

HeatherA

more writer with Heather

mono’s added more pen power with our newest writer, Heather Sullard. Heather comes to us with an impressive history in word wrangling from gigs at both Periscope and Fallon, and we were lucky to have her freelance on some past projects, too. Believe the hype: Heather created one of the smartest wedding invitations we’ve witnessed (see “current side project” on her site).
